#9 Weber State 38, #20 North Dakota 31

OGDEN (Nov. 27, 2022) – Weber State jumped out to a 24-0 lead against North Dakota on Saturday afternoon, before the Wildcats held on for a 38-31 victory in the first round of the FCS Playoffs. Josh Davis and Damon Bankston led the way for the Wildcats, as the pair each rushed over the century mark to lift Weber State's rushing total to 330 for the day. Weber State will face Montana State in the second round of the FCS Playoffs, with the Wildcats traveling to face the Bobcats on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1:00 p.m. MT.

HAMMOND, Louisiana (Nov. 27, 2022) – A furious comeback fell just short for Idaho, as the Vandals dropped a 45-42 decision at Southeastern Louisiana in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs. Hayden Hatten and Jermaine Jackson led the way for the Vandals, as Hatten caught nine passes for a career-high 209 yards and a touchdown while Jackson totaled 111 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 95-yard kickoff return for a score. The playoff loss caps an amazing first year for the Vandals under head coach Jason Eck, with Idaho going 7-5 and earning its first trip to the FCS Playoffs since 1995.

MISSOULA (Nov. 27, 2022) – The Montana Grizzlies pulled off one of the most improbable and historic comebacks in program history Saturday night, rallying from a 21-point, third-quarter deficit to score 31 unanswered points, defeating Southeast Missouri 34-24 in the first round of the FCS Playoffs. Malik Flowers and Junior Bergen each scored a touchdown in the return game to spark Montana's comeback, while Lucas Johnson passed for 306 yards and two scores to pace the offense. Montana will now travel to Fargo to take on defending national champion North Dakota State on Saturday, Dec. 3, with kickoff slated for 1:30 p.m. MT.
