FARMINGTON, Utah (Nov. 20, 2022) - One of the most exciting Saturdays ever in the Big Sky concluded the football regular season, as Sacramento State and Montana State were crowned co-champions. Below is a recap of every Big Sky football game from Week 12.

BOZEMAN (Nov. 20, 2022) – With all eyes on the Brawl of the Wild for College GameDay's visit to Bozeman, Montana State jumped out to a 31-7 lead at halftime as the Bobcats rode momentum for a 55-21 victory over rival Montana. Tommy Mellott racked up nearly 250 yards of total offense and two scores, with 141 of that coming on the ground. Elijah Elliott added 126 yards, while Sean Chambers and Marqui Johnson combined for 160 yards as the Bobcats totaled 439 rushing yards on 66 carries. The victory also gave the Bobcats their first Big Sky title since 2012, as Montana State and Sacramento State were crowned co-champions.

POCATELLO (Nov. 20, 2022) – Roshaun Johnson rushed for three touchdowns, the Idaho defense forced four turnovers, including a Marcus Harris pick-six, and Idaho topped Idaho State 38-7 to claim the ICCU Battle of the Domes trophy for the second consecutive year. The Vandals, behind starting true freshman quarterback Jack Layne, racked up 467 yards of offense, including a nine-play 52-yard opening drive that culminated in a two-yard rushing touchdown by Johnson. With the victory, Idaho finishes the regular season with seven wins, its most since earning nine in 2016.

FLAGSTAFF (Nov. 20, 2022) – Weber State survived an upset bid at Northern Arizona, as the Wildcats topped the Lumberjacks 33-31 and won the first Red Rock Rivalry trophy, which was unveiled earlier this week. Kyle Thompson made four field goals in the second half, including a 23-yard field goal with five seconds left to seal the win for Weber State. Weber State's Abraham Williams earned his fourth 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the year, which ranks as an FCS record.
Eastern Washington 45, Northern Colorado 21

CHENEY (Nov. 20, 2022) – After falling behind 14-7 in the second quarter, Eastern Washington scored 28 unanswered points to earn a 45-21 victory over Northern Colorado in the regular-season finale. Redshirt freshman Kekoa Visperas made his first career start at quarterback for EWU, passing for 235 yards and a pair of scores in the win for the Eagles. Northern Colorado's Elijah Dotson rushed for 121 yards on the day, becoming just the second Bear to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for a single season during its NCAA DI era (2006).

SACRAMENTO (Nov. 20, 2022) – Sacramento State defeated UC Davis 27-21 in the Causeway Classic, as the Hornets finished the regular season with an 11-0 record and perfect 8-0 mark in conference play. Asher O'Hara rushed for two scores and threw for another, while Cameron Skattebo finished just shy of 100 yards on the ground as the pair paced the Hornet offense. The undefeated regular season is the first in program history for Sacramento State, as a school-record 23,073 fans watched the Hornets earn its third Big Sky title in the last four years. The Hornets were crowned co-champions with Montana State, who also finished 8-0 in the league.
Cal Poly 49, Portland State 42

SAN LUIS OBISPO (Nov. 20, 2022) – Cal Poly outlasted Portland State 49-42 as the Mustangs earned its first Big Sky win of the year in the regular-season finale. Spencer Brasch passed for 415 yards and four touchdowns in the win, both career highs for the Mustang quarterback. The victory also snapped an eight-game losing streak on the year for Cal Poly.
