BOZEMAN (Oct. 8, 2022) – Montana State scored 37 unanswered points, as the Bobcats downed Idaho State 37-6 to continue their FCS-best, 16-game home winning streak. Bobcat quarterback Sean Chambers scored three more touchdowns on the ground to raise his total to 15 on the year, while Lane Sumner rushed for 100 yards in his return from injury to help lead the Montana State offense.

FLAGSTAFF (Oct. 8, 2022) – Collin Robbins hit a go-ahead, 40-yard field goal with just 1:27 left as Northern Arizona held on to defeat Cal Poly 31-29 for its first conference win of the season. Lumberjack quarterback RJ Martinez passed for 359 yards and three touchdowns, while adding another score on the ground to pace the NAU offense.
Portland State 48, Lincoln (CA) 6

HILLSBORO (Oct. 8, 2022) – Portland State had no trouble with Lincoln (CA) University, as the Vikings cruised to a 48-6 win at home. Portland State's Dante Chachere followed up his five-touchdown game from last week with six scores on Saturday, as the sophomore quarterback passed for five touchdowns and rushed for another against the lower division foe.

OGDEN (Oct. 8, 2022) – In a battle of ranked foes, No. 7 Weber State defeated No. 24 Eastern Washington 45-21 as the Wildcats improved to 5-0 for just the second time in program history. The D&D combo of Damon Bankston and Dontae McMillan combined for 187 yards on the ground and three touchdowns to lead the Weber State offense on Saturday night. The Wildcat defense held EWU quarterback Gunner Talkington to just his second game below 200 yards passing of the year, while picking off one pass to give Weber State its 11th interception of the season.

SACRAMENTO (Oct. 8, 2022) – Sacramento State improved to 5-0 after a dominating 55-7 win over Northern Colorado at home. The Hornet defense held the Bears to under 200 yards of total offense, and didn't allow a first down until the second half of the game. Jake Dunniway passed for 258 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Cameron Skattebo added 124 yards on the ground and another score.
