GREELEY (Oct. 15, 2022) – Willie Patterson caught seven passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns to help Montana State earn a 37-14 win at Northern Colorado on Saturday. Tommy Mellott returned to the lineup to pass for 217 yards and three scores, while Lane Sumner rushed for 130 yards on the ground to pace the Bobcat offense. Northern Colorado's Elijah Dotson also eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground with 101 yards and a score to cap his day for the Bears.

POCATELLO (Oct. 15, 2022) – Idaho State earned its first win of the year this past Saturday, as the Bengals downed Cal Poly 40-31 at Holt Arena. The Bengals racked up 293 yards on the ground and had three plays of 50 yards or more, which all resulted in touchdowns for Idaho State. Cal Poly mounted a comeback after scoring 17 unanswered points, but the Bengals held on late to secure the 40-31 victory at home.

MISSOULA (Oct. 15, 2022) – Idaho upset third-ranked Montana 30-23 on the road, as the Vandals defeated the Griz for the first time since 1999 and returned the Little Brown Stein back to Moscow. Freshman Gevani McCoy passed for 286 yards and two touchdowns for Idaho on offense, while the Vandal defense picked off two passes in the fourth quarter and held Montana to just 220 yards of total offense on the day. The Vandal special team’s unit also shined in the victory, with the Vandals blocking a PAT, forcing a safety on a punt and opening the second half with a successful onside kick.

HILLSBORO (Oct. 15, 2022) – Weber State improved to 6-0 for the first time since 1968, as the Wildcats earned an impressive 42-7 win at Portland State on Saturday. Weber State racked up 553 yards of total offense, while holding the Vikings to just 167 yards on the day. The victory also extended Weber State's school-record road winning streak to eight games overall dating back to last season.

CHENEY (Oct. 15, 2022) – Sacramento State rushed for a season-high 385 yards to pull away from Eastern Washington, 52-28, and stay unbeaten on the season at 6-0. Cameron Skattebo led the rushing attack for the Hornets as he gained 201 yards on the ground while catching three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Asher O'Hara added 94 yards on the ground for Sacramento State as well, with three more rushing touchdowns to bring his total to 11 for the season.

DAVIS (Oct. 15, 2022) – UC Davis won its first conference game of the year after a 56-27 win over Northern Arizona at home on Saturday. The Aggies amassed 688 yards of total offense on the day, with 328 coming through the air from Miles Hastings and 150 on the ground from Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. The 150 yards rushing also pushed Gilliam Jr. over the 4,000-yard career rushing mark, as the Aggie became just the 12th player in Big Sky history to achieve the milestone.
