FARMINGTON, Utah (January 25, 2022) – Sacramento State's Isnelle Natabou has been named the ROAR Organic Big Sky Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Natabou was instrumental in the Hornets' success this week as they went 3-0.
Natabou had three double-doubles in Sacramento State's three victories over Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Northern Colorado to extend the team's winning streak to four games. The freshman averaged 15.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game over the three-game stretch in five days.
Natabou shot .750 from the field (18-24) and .750 from the free-throw line (9-12) during the week.
To start the week, Natabou scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Eastern Washington, where she was 7-of-9 from the field. She recorded 17 points (7-9) on Saturday and matched her Big Sky leading mark with 22 rebounds against Idaho. Natabou rounded out the week with 10 points (4-6) and 10 rebounds against Northern Colorado.
Natabou also had five blocks during the week, including three against the Bears. She also had four steals, with at least one in each contest.
This is the second time this season that Natabou has received #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week honors.
