A Trio of #BigSkyFB Programs Ranked in Stats Perform FCS Top 25
FARMINGTON, Utah (March 8, 2021) – It was another exciting weekend for Big Sky Football. With two weeks of conference play complete, the league has a trio of teams ranked in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25, announced today by the organization.
Weber State (1-0) did not have a game this past weekend, but that didn’t change its status in the poll. The Wildcats remain at the No. 2 spot in the poll. Weber State earned 928 points and two first-place votes this week. The Wildcats are scheduled to return to action this Saturday as they host No. 23 UC Davis.
Eastern Washington (1-1) posted a dominant 45-13 win against Northern Arizona to win their 15
th straight on the “Inferno.” The victory bumped EWU up to No. 16 in the poll. The Eagles received 317 points and will play at Idaho State (1-1) on Saturday.
UC Davis (1-0) cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season, as its ranked No. 23. The Aggies, who received 140 points in the poll, defeated then-No. 19 Idaho, 27-17, after a 13-point fourth quarter performance to seal the road win. UC Davis had previously been receiving votes in the poll. The Aggies will face No. 2 Weber State next.
Idaho (1-1) received 81 points in the poll.
