WSU's Daryn Hickok Named #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (March 1, 2021) – Weber State sophomore Daryn Hickok has been named the #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week after guiding the Wildcats to their first two victories of the season last week.

Hickok averaged 25 points, seven rebounds, and two steals per game while shooting 62 percent from the field and 91 percent from the free-throw line.

Hickok scored 25 points in both games last week to set new season-highs. She was 9-of-13 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line with seven rebounds in Thursday's win.  

In Saturday's overtime victory over the Hornets, Hickok went for another 25 points and added seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks while shooting 9-of-16 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.

For the two games, she was 18-of-29 from the field and 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.
