SUU's Liz Graves Named #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (January 18, 2021) – Southern Utah's Liz Graves has been named the #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week for the second time this season.  Graves gets the nod this week for her performance in the Thunderbirds' first game last week against UT-Rio Grande Valley.

Graves scored 33 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the game against the Vaqueros.  She also dished out two assists and had four steals in the game.

Graves shot 48 percent and went 11-of-23 from the field, including hitting 50 percent of her three-point shots. 

Last week's performance is the second-best for most points scored in a game this season, only coming shy of her season-high by one point. 

Graves has received player of the week honors three times during her career and twice this season.
