MSU's Belo Collects Final #BigSkyMBB Weekly Honor

FARMINGTON, Utah (March 9, 2020) – Montana State sophomore forward Jubrile Belo recorded a pair of double-doubles in his final regular season games to garner Big Sky Men’s Basketball Ready Nutrition Player of the Week honors.

Belo netted a career-high 25 points along with 11 rebounds to help the Bobcats clinch a first round bye for the Big Sky Championship in a 73-65 win over Southern Utah on Thursday. The London native went 6-of-11 from the field while connecting on 13-of-16 from the charity stripe.

He followed that performance with 24 points on a career-high 10 field goals in a loss to Northern Colorado on Saturday. Belo added 12 rebounds (five offensive), four blocks and a pair of steals.

The Big Sky weekly honor is the first of his career.
