Idaho’s Natalie Klinker Named #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (March 7, 2020) – Idaho junior Natalie Klinker has been named the final #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week of the 2019-20 season.

Klinker averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds and also had two assists, two steals, and a blocked shot in two wins last week.

The junior post player dominated the boards against Idaho State with 13 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass which resulted in six second-chance points. Klinker also dished out an assist and recorded two steals along with one block against Idaho State.

In her final game of the regular season against Weber State, she finished 3-of-3 from the field with eight points and six boards.

Natalie was a force down low with 11 fouls drawn on the week and was 10-of-11 from the field for a 90 percent shooting percentage this week.

This is the second time this season that a player from Idaho has received a weekly honor.
