Six #BigSkyMBB Players Earn NABC All-District Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 23, 2020)
– The Big Sky Conference placed six men's basketball players on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 6 Team, as voted on by the organization’s NCAA Division I member coaches.
 
Eastern Washington led the league with two honorees with Mason Peatling earning first team honors and Jacob Davison collecting a second team nod. Montana’s Sayeed Pridgett and Northern Colorado’s Jonah Radebaugh were also named to the first team while Weber State’s Jerrick Harding and Montana State’s Harald Frey were tabbed second team selections.
 
Named the 2019-20 Big Sky MVP, Peatling became the first Big Sky player in three seasons to average a double-double in conference play with 18.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. The Melbourne, Australia native was sixth with 3.8 assists per game while ranking third with 1.7 blocks and a 56.3 shooting percentage during league play.
 
Pridgett and Radebaugh were unanimous All-Big Sky First Team selections alongside Peatling. Pridgett averaged 20.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists against Big Sky opponents while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. Radebaugh led the Big Sky with 7.4 assists per game in league play while sporting a conference-best 3.3 assist-to-turnover ratio. He also added 16.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game on 51 percent shooting.
 
Frey was also an All-Big Sky First Team honoree averaging 16.2 points and 4.1 assists in conference action.
 
Davison and Harding were All-Big Sky Second Team selections as two of the top scorers in the Big Sky this season. Davison averaged 18.7 points for fourth in league play while Harding topped the conference with 22.5 points per game. The all-district nod is the third of Harding’s career.
 
NCAA Division I is divided into 24 districts by the NABC with District 6 being comprised of the Big Sky and Western Athletic Conferences (WAC).
 
The WAC totaled four all-district honorees with Seattle’s Terrell Brown and Cal Baptist’s Milan Acquaah earning first team honors and New Mexico State’s Trevelin Queen and Ivan Aurrecoechea being named to the second team. NMSU's Chris Jans was selected as the NABC District 6 Coach of the Year.
