Southern Utah’s Vincent Named Big Sky Men’s Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (March 11, 2020) – Southern Utah’s Jake Vincent has been named the Big Sky Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.

Vincent, a senior for the Thunderbirds, had another standout performance at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev. Vincent finished in a tie for fourth after shooting a 5-under score of 211 (69, 70, 72) through three rounds of competition. He shot 11 birdies over the course of the tournament and has now finished with a score under-par in six out of seven tournaments played in his senior season.

It is the fourth weekly honor of the season for the reigning Big Sky Men’s Golf Individual Player of the Year and an impressive eighth of his career.

Next up for Southern Utah is the Cal Poly Match Play from Mar. 23-24 in Arroyo Grande, Calif.
