FARMINGTON, Utah (January 7, 2020) -
As the Big Sky Conference season enters the third week of play one team has found their way to the top of the league standings.
  • With the countdown to #BigSkyInBoise on there is one team that has risen to the top of the league standings after two weeks into conference play.  Preseason favorite Montana State sits as the only undefeated team with a 4-0 record.  The Bobcats are currently outscoring their opponents with an average of 26 points.
  • Portland State’s Jordan Stotler was named the #BigSkyWBB Player of the Week. Stotler averaged a double-double in two games with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  She also averaged five assists and 3.5 blocks to her stat line.
  • Four teams sit with one loss in the conference standings.  Of those teams that have one loss in conference play, Montana sits with the best record at 3-1, while Idaho, Idaho State, and Northern Colorado currently have a 21 record.
  • Northern Arizona’s Khiarica Rasheed leads the conference in scoring during conference play.  Rasheed is averaging 23.0 points per game.
  • Jordan Stotler from Portland State is the current defensive leader in the Big Sky and is averaging 9.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in conference play.
