FARMINGTON, Utah (January 22, 2020) -- Montana State and Idaho continue to lead in the standings this week but the conference race is far from over as Northern Arizona pushes its winning streak to five games.
  • Montana State remains at the top of the conference standings after the first month is in the books.  With a 6-1 record. The Bobcats hold a slim lead over second place.
  • Coming in a close second in the standings is Idaho.  The Vandals have put up a few impressive wins so far and are 5-1.  The Vandals are the only team to get the better of the Bobcats this conference season. 
  • Sacramento State’s Kennedy Nicholas received her second player of the week honor this season after being named the Big Sky player of the week.  Nicholas averaged 21.5 points and 14 rebounds.  
  • Northern Arizona continues its winning streak as it moved it to five this past weekend.  The Lumberjacks are 5-2 in conference game and 8-8 overall this season. Their only losses in conference play came against Montana and Montana State on the opening weekend.
  • Montana State leads the conference in scoring margin with a +16.9 which is 10 points better than the next best team.  The Bobcats are currently averaging 81.3 points per game and is holding there opponents on average to 64.4 points per game.
