FARMINGTON, Utah (January 14, 2020) - Three weeks into the conference season and we are starting to get a little separation at the top of the league standings.
  • Montana State and Idaho both have one loss in conference play.  MSU remains at the top of the conference standings with a 5-1 record.  Idaho sits in a close second with a 3-1 record.  
  • Northern Arizona’s Khiarica Rasheed was named the Big Sky player of the week.  She averaged 22 points, 10.5 rebounds and shot 65 percent from the field against Sacramento State and Idaho State last week.
  • In conference games this season, NAU’s Rasheed leads the conference in scoring with an average of 22.6 points per game this year.  Rasheed is shooting .642 from the floor and is 43-of-67 in conference play.
  • Sacramento State’s Kennedy Nicholas is the only player in the Big Sky to average double-digit rebounds in conference play.  Nicholas is averaging 10.6 rebounds a game and has totaled 53 boards in the first three weeks.
  • Northern Arizona and Montana State are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in scoring offense with both teams averaging more than 80 points in conference play.
