Ricketts, Stucker, Campos Earn #BigSkyXC Weekly Honors
FARMINGTON, Utah (October 1, 2019) – Southern Utah’s Christian Ricketts and Idaho’s Dwain Stucker and Nathalia Campos were named the Big Sky Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, announced today by the league office.
#BigSkyXC Male Athlete of the Week – Christian Ricketts, Jr., Southern Utah
Christian Ricketts made his 2019 campaign debut at the Roy Griak Invite where he was the first Thunderbird to cross the finish line. Ricketts placed second overall in the competition with a time of 24:46.3 in the 8K. Thunderbirds placed 12
th as a team behind Duke, while defeating South Dakota State, Cal Baptist, and UC Santa Barbara, who finished third through fifth.
#BigSkyXC Male Athlete of the Week – Dwain Stucker, Sr., Idaho, Meridian, Idaho
Dwain Stucker led Idaho at the Bill Dellinger Invitational. He was the first Vandal to cross the line as he finished the 8k course in 65
th place with a time of 24:45.2. Stucker and the Vandals finished 12
th in a loaded field that featured No. 11 Oregon, No. 2 BYU, and No. 24 UCLA.

#BigSkyXC Female Athlete of the Week – Nathalia Campos, So., Idaho, Meridian, Idaho
Campos was the top finisher for Idaho at the Bill Dellinger Invitational. The sophomore placed 50th with a time of 20:54.5 in the 6k race. Idaho finished 13
th overall as a squad. The field included No. 6 BYU, No. 13 Boise State, and No. 9 Oregon.
