Southern Utah’s Vincent Tabbed Men’s Golfer of the Week Again

#BigSkyGolf Men’s Weekly Notebook

FARMINGTON, Utah (September 25, 2019) – Southern Utah’s Jake Vincent has been named the Big Sky Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.

Vincent, a senior for the Thunderbirds, finished as the runner-up at the 2019 Derek Dolenc Invitational following a three-way playoff. After finishing with a four-under 209 (72, 65, 72), Vincent took the second-place finish in the playoff. Vincent now has an individual victory and a runner-up finish to start the season, along with his 10th career top-10 finish. 

It is the second weekly honor of the season for Vincent and the sixth of his career.

Next up for Southern Utah is the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational from Oct. 7-8 in Erie, Colo.
