FARMINGTON, Utah (December 9, 2019) – Montana State swept the #BigSkyTF men’s athlete of the week awards and the Weber State women made a sweep of the women’s athlete of the week awards.

In the first meet of the indoor track and field season, MSU’s Duncan Hamilton was named the Big Sky Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week while fellow teammate Noah Martin received Big Sky Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Hamilton made his first indoor appearance at the Bobcat Preview, hosted by Montana State, and put together a top-10 program mark in the mile. He finished first in the race with a converted time of 4:06.66. That mark moved him to 10th all-time among Bobcats in the event, while it also placed him second in the nation early in the 2019-20 indoor season. The time is the fastest in the event on the Big Sky Conference performance list this season.

Martin took first in the men's high jump at the Bobcat Preview where he completed a personal best in the event with his jump of 6-11.50.
