Weber State’s Liz Graves Named #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (December 23, 2019) – Weber State’s Liz Graves has been named the #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week for her performance this past week against a pair of in-state opponents.

Graves helped the Wildcats to a 1-1 record on the week and scored a career-high 26 points against Utah Valley.

The junior guard led the Wildcats against Utah Valley with 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field, including going 3-of-4 from long range for a 71 percent shooting percentage.  Graves also added seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals to her stat total.

In the Wildcats’ second game against Utah, Graves had another 20+ point performance as she netted 21 points.  Despite being held to just 3-of-10 shooting in the game she managed to get to the free-throw line where she was nearly perfect, going 12-of-13.  Against Utah, she grabbed five rebounds and added three steals.

On the week Graves averaged 23.5 points, six rebounds, 2.5 steals, and an assist.  Graves shot 54 percent from the field and also shot 94 percent from the free-throw line on the week.
