FARMINGTON, Utah (December 17, 2019) -- The non-conference schedule for #BigSkyWBB is drawing to a close. With just one week left to play before conference begins teams are starting to find their stride.
- After six days off for finals, #BigSkyWBB was back on the court beginning this past Saturday. Eight teams competed in at least one game.
- Portland State’s Desirae Hansen was named the Big Sky Player of the Week for her performance against their cross-town rivals Portland. Hansen had a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists. She also added five rebounds and a blocked shot to her stat line.
- In the league standings, Portland State sits at the top as we approach the ending of non-conference play. The Vikings have a 6-3 record and are currently on a five game winning streak.
- Two other teams currently have three losses in the league standings. Southern Utah is currently in second place with a 5-3 record while Montana State is in third with a 4-3 record.
- Non-conference play wraps up this Saturday, Dec. 21 and there will be a seven day break before play resumes at the end of the month.
- Conference play tips-off on Saturday, Dec. 28 with five games scheduled for that day.
