FARMINGTON, Utah (Novemebr 5, 2019) -- As the season nears the end the postseason picture is still a little murky as each team is currently fighting for a spot in the postseason tournament.
- Northern Colorado secured a spot in the Big Sky post season tournament later this month when they knocked off Montana last Friday night.
- The Bears sit atop the league standings with a 11-1 record and have a three-game lead over the rest of the field.
- Weber State and Idaho sit in a two way tie for second place with 8-4 records. The Wildcats currently hold the tiebreaker over Idaho thanks to their 3-2 victory last month.
- Northern Arizona and Sacramento State are in a tie for fourth place as both teams currently have a 7-5 record in league play. The Hornets hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Lumberjacks.
- Despite going 0-2 last week in league play, Montana State is sitting in sole possession of sixth place with a 6-6 record.
- Two teams sit in the seventh and eighth spots in the standings and are fighting to stay their. Southern Utah and Portland State both have a 5-7 record in league play.
- Three teams sit two games out in the race for the postseason tournament. Idaho State, Eastern Washington, and Montana each have a 3-9 record in Big Sky play and each team still is in the hunt for one of the coveted spots in the Big Sky Tournament.
