FARMINGTON, Utah (November 12, 2019) -- As the #BigSkyVB season begins to wind down there is still a lot that can happen in the next two weeks as teams fight for a spot in the conference tournament.
- Weber State and Northern Arizona joined Northern Colorado in clinching a spot in the Big Sky Tournament that will be held in Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 28-30.
- UNC clinched a share of the regular season title over the weekend with their wins over Idaho State and Weber State.
- With a victory on this week, UNC will claim the regular season title outright.
- Weber State and Northern Arizona are currently in a tie for second place at 9-5 in league play. The Wildcats andthe Lumberjacks split their home series with the host team winning the contest in both matches.
- Currently their is a three-way tie for fourth place in the league standings. With an 8-6 record, Montana State, Sacramento State, and Idaho are all trying to secure a spot in the conference tournament.
- Southern Utah is sitting in seventh place with a 6-8 record and is fighting to stay in the hunt for the postseason after a rough October where they went 3-6 during the month.
- The final spot in the post season tournament is currently Portland State at 5-9 in the season. The Vikings currently one game ahead of Eastern Washington and Montana
