Sacramento State’s Blair Earns Big Sky Women’s Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (November 1, 2019) – Sacramento State’s Tess Blair has been named the Big Sky Conference Women’s Golf Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.

Blair, a freshman for the Hornets, led the way for Sacramento State at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Kapolei, Hawaii. Blair took 1st place at the tournament after shooting an impressive nine-under 207 (71-70-66) which set the school record. She was bogey-free during her final round of 66, which also tied another school record for lowest round, and added on 12 birdies and 1 eagle for the tournament.

It is the first weekly honor of Blair’s young career.

Next up for Sacramento State is the UCF Challenge from Feb. 2-4 in Orlando, Fla. to kick off their spring season.
