FARMINGTON, Utah (October 21, 2019) -- Halfway through the conference season there is still a lot left to be decided before the conference tournament in November.  UNC has emmerged as the leader in the league standings but Idaho, Montana State and Sacramento State are close behind.

  • Northern Colorado remains the only unbeaten team in conference play with an 8-0 record. The Bears are currently on an eight game winning streak that dates back to September 20th when the Bears dropped their final game of their nonconference schedule.
  • UNC currently has a two game lead over second place and is currently the front runner to win the conference as we hit the halfway mark of the schedule.
  • Weber State’s Dani Nay was named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week Nay averaged 4.34 kills per set in two matches last week and had a hitting percentage of .361.
  • Idaho State’s Duquesne Moratzka was named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week. Moratzka totaled 21 digs and nine blocks as the Bengals went 1-1 on the week.
