Sacramento State’s Davidson Named Big Sky Men’s Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (October 2, 2019) – Sacramento State’s Ethan Davidson has been named the Big Sky Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.
Davidson, a sophomore for the Hornets, shattered his career 54-hole best score by shooting a 211 (73, 71, 67) at the Nick Watney Invitational. Davidson finished two-under par and tied for 24th overall in the tournament. His third-round score of 67 beat his previous single-round best by two strokes and his 54-hole total was five shots lower than his mark of 216 set last season at the Big Sky Championship.
It is the first weekly honor of Davidson’s career.
Next up for Sacramento State is the Bill Cullum Invitational from Oct. 14-15 in Simi Valley, Calif.
