Stucker, Swenson #BigSkyXC Athletes of the Week Accolades

FARMINGTON, Utah (October 15, 2019) – Idaho’s Dwain Stucker and Kelsey Swenson were named the Big Sky Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, announced today by the league office.
#BigSkyXC Male Athlete of the Week – Dwain Stucker, Idaho, Meridian, Idaho
Dwain Stucker raced to a time of 23:46 in the 8k race at the Inland Empire Championships. Stucker’s time placed him sixth overall to lead the Vandals, who finished second as a team. It is the second weekly honor this season for Stucker.

#BigSkyXC Female Athlete of the Week – Kelsey Swenson, Idaho, Bend, Ore.
Kelsey Swenson placed second overall at the Inland Empire Championships to lead Idaho to a first-place team finish. She completed the 5k race in a time of 17:27 to lead a quintet of Vandal runners that placed in the top 10. It is the first weekly honor of Swenson’s career.
