OGDEN, Utah (January 8, 2019) – Idaho State’s Saylair Grandon has been named this week’s #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week.

Grandon, a senior from Phoenix, Ariz., helped Idaho State secure its best start to conference play since the 2011-12 season by leading the team in undefeated play last week.

She returned to her home state on Saturday when the Bengals faced Northern Arizona. At the end of the first quarter, she already had 10 points and six rebounds after going 4-6 from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line. She secured her first double-double of the season in the third quarter and went 4-4 from the charity stripe in the final quarter to keep the Lumberjacks at bay.
