Idaho’s Mikayla Ferenz Receives #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week Honors

OGDEN, Utah (January 2, 2019) – Mikayla Ferenz from the University of Idaho has been named this week’s #BigSkyWBB Ready Nutrition Player of the Week for her play in two games as the Vandals kicked of Big Sky Conference play.
 
Ferenz was the Vandals’ top scorer and averaged 27.5 points on 16-of-33 shooting from the field including a 33 percent shooting percentage from three-point range.  She also averaged five rebounds per game and totaled five assists and four steals in two games.
 
The senior guard scored 29 points in the Vandals’ conference opening game against Idaho State and also added six rebounds to her stat line. 
 
This is the second time this season that Ferenz as received this honor.
