ISU Freshman Lohse Collects First #BigSkyTennis Men's Player of the Week Accolade

OGDEN, Utah (January 16, 2019) – Idaho State rookie Fynn Lohse collected a singles win in his collegiate debut last weekend to be named Big Sky Men’s Tennis Player of the Week.

Lohse recorded the Bengals’ lone point in a 6-1 defeat to Utah State on Sunday in Logan. The freshman from Kaltenkirchen, Germany closed out the match with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Rithvik Bollipalli at No. 6 singles.

Lohse is the first Idaho State men’s tennis player to garner a Big Sky Player of the Week honor since Sebastian Edin on Mar. 22, 2017.
