FULL RELEASE

Eastern Washington
  • Went 0-1 on the week losing to Utah 95-51.
  • Violet Kapri Morrow scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
  • Grace Kirscher leads all Big Sky freshman on scoring averaging 9.3 points per game.
 
Idaho
  • Dropped two games on the week against Boise State 91-85 and Long Beach State 70-63.
  • Mikayla Ferenz averaged 30.5 points per game and was named to the Beach Classic All-Tournament Team.
  • Janie King is eighth in the nation in three-point field goal percentage averaging 59.1 percent on 13-21 shooting in five games.
 
Idaho State
  • Held Kennesaw State to two fourth quarter points en route to a 60-49 victory. Fell to Georgia Tech 74-51 in its other game of the week.
  • Grace Kenyon registered the first double-double for Idaho State on the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds versus Kennesaw State.
 
Montana
  • Went 1-1 on the week taking down Providence 90-45 and losing to South Dakota 64-41.
  • Six players scored in double-figures for the Griz in their win over Providence.
  • Abby Anderson continues to be a problem for opposing offenses having turned away eight shots in three games this year.
 
Montana State
  • Had the week off, but play two games this week at Wyoming before returning home to host Long Beach State.
  • Claire Lundberg ranks 14th in the nation averaging 22.3 points per game and 30th in field goal percentage shooting 60 percent from the field.
 
Northern Arizona
  • 4-2 on the year defeating Loyola Marymount 63-62 before falling to SMU 55-48 last week.
  • Caitlin Malvar’s go-ahead jumper with eight seconds remaining sealed the victory for the Lumberjacks over Loyola Marymount.
  • Kaleigh Paplow averaged 19 points, 6.5 rebs., and 6 dimes to lead the team.
  • Khiarica Rasheed is averaging 60 percent from the floor this season, the 30th best mark in the country.
 
Northern Colorado
  • Registered two wins on the week against Colorado State 53-47 and San Francisco 68-63.
  • Ali Meyer recorded double-digit rebound performances in both contests with 12 boards against Colorado State and 17 rebounds versus San Francisco.
  • Micayla Isenbart scored a career-high 17 points in the hard-fought win over Colorado State.
  • Savannah Smith leads the team in scoring averaging 17.6 points per game. Northern Colorado is 3-2 after dropping its first two games of the year.
 
Portland State
  • Used a 23-2 run at the start of the fourth quarter to pull away from Seattle and win 68-43 in its lone game of the week.
  • Pia Juhar recorded a double-double in the win with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
  • The Vikings are first in the nation in field goal percentage defense and eighth in total points allowed in the country.
  • Have also been very efficient on offense ranking No. 48 in the country averaging 78.8 points for the season.
 
Sacramento State
  • Fell to Pepperdine 113-97 before upending Illinois 109-107 to sit at 2-1 on the season.
  • Hannah Friend tallied 33 points in the win over Illinois. Friend ranks third in the nation in scoring average with 26 points per game over three games.
  • Currently has the top scoring offense in the nation averaging 98 points per contest.
  • Kennedy Nicholas averages 12.3 rebounds per game, the 15th best average in the nation.
 
Southern Utah
  • Went 0-2 on the week falling to UC Irvine 75-58 before being clipped by UC Davis 68-45.
  • Harley Hansen is second in the conference in steals with 11 over four games for a 2.8 steals per game average.
 
Weber State
  • Went 1-2 on the week defeating Incarnate Word 72-64 before dropping to VCU and UTSA.
  • Rallied from a ten-point first quarter deficit in the Incarnate Word game.
  • Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman leads the team in points averaging 17 per contest.
