PDF Notes

Eastern Washington
  • Went 1-1 on the week defeating Eastern Oregon before falling to BYU
  • Violet Kapri Morrow averaged 15 points and 6.5 rebounds over the two games
  • Freshman Grace Kirscher dropped 21 points on BYU on 8-13 shooting from the field
 
Idaho
  • Picked up the Big Sky’s first Power-Five school win on the season taking down Texas Tech 88-77 to move to 2-1 on the season.
  • All five Vandal starters scored in double-figures with Taylor Pierce netting 22 points to lead the team
  • Natalie Klinker recorded her first double-double on the season with 11 points and 14 rebounds against the Red Raiders
 
Idaho State
  • Went 0-2 on the week with a 70-51 loss to Gonzaga before falling to Utah 74-60. Both losses were on the road.
  • Callie Bourne recorded five steals against Utah which is the tied for the most of any Big Sky player in a game this season.
  • Had three players record double-digit point totals versus Utah led by Grace Kenyon with 17 points.
 
Montana
  • Did not play over the past week, but has two home games over Thanksgiving week with Providence (Mont.) on Tuesday before hosting South Dakota on Saturday.
 
Montana State
  • Claire Lundberg was red-hot from the field in Montana State’s two wins registering outings of 28 and 26 points. The senior shot 16-21 from the field and a perfect 17-17 from the charity stripe.
  • Outscored Texas State 24-12 in the fourth period to erase a four point deficit in the 67-59 win over Texas State
  • Martha Kuderer averaged 19 points and 7.5 rebounds for the Bobcats over the two-game stretch
 
Northern Arizona
  • Scored 91 points on 49.3 percent shooting from the field in its home win over Cal Baptist to improve to 3-1 on the season
  • Made 18-24 attempts from the free throw line compared to 6-7 for Cal Baptist
  • Had five players tally double figures in points with Kaleigh Paplow’s 22 leading the team.
  • Caitlin Malvar notched a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Lumberjacks in 34 minutes of play
 
Northern Colorado
  • Krystal Leger-Walker scored a career-high 22 points as the Bears took down Denver in its home opener for their first win on the year
  • Had two players record double-doubles in Bridget Hintz (11 points and 14 rebounds) and Ali Meyer (10 points and 12 rebounds)
  • Savannah Smith’s 19 points in the win put her in UNC’s top 10 all-time scoring list
 
Portland State
  • Took down last year’s Big West champion UC Davis 65-50 in its lone game of the week.
  • Ashley Bolston recorded a triple-double in the home win with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists to become the tenth Big Sky player to achieve the feat.
  • Kylie Jimenez scored 17 points and dished out six assists to help the cause.
  • The Vikings forced UC Davis to commit 17 turnovers in the victory.
 
Sacramento State
  • Due to poor air quality, Sacramento State’s home game against Ohio State was cancelled.
  • Will play two games in the Holiday Beach Classic this week against Pepperdine and Illinois.
 
Southern Utah
  • Dropped a tightly-contested road game against UC Riverside 56-50.
  • Held UC Riverside to 33.8 percent shooting from the field and .059 shooting from three.
  • Breanu Reid and Harley Hansen reached double figure point totals for the Thunderbirds.
 
Weber State
  • Didn’t play a game last week, but has a busy schedule with three games this week.
  • Plays at Incarnate Word before playing against VCU and UTSA in the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic
