OGDEN, Utah (January 17, 2017) – Weber State remains atop the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball standings with a 4-0 record in league play. Montana took sole possession of second place with a pair of wins last week while Portland State and Eastern Washington are tied for fourth with 3-2 conference marks.
Big Games This Week
Weber State heads to North Dakota (9-7, 4-2 BSC) on Thursday to kick off a week of big games across the conference. Montana and Montana State head to Portland State and Sacramento State while Idaho and Eastern Washington play host to travel partners, Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. With the top five teams in the conference standings earning first round byes in the upcoming conference tournament, each game is crucial.
National rankings
Montana State’s Tyler Hall is third in the nation in 3-pointers made while WSU’s Jeremy Senglin ranks 12
th. Hall is also ranked third in scoring with SUU’s Randy Onuwasor ranked 5
th.
