OGDEN, Utah (January 16, 2017) - The Portland State Vikings are officially one of the hottest teams in #BigSkyWBB.

The Vikings hosted Northern Arizona for a rare Monday game, after Thursday's game between the two schools was cancelled due to weather-related travel issues. It was Monday magic for Portland State, as the Vikings outlasted the Lumberjacks for a 56-55 win.

The third straight win for the Vikings was a tight affair, with neither team leading by double-digits in the game. The Vikings' largest lead in the entire game was three points, which came early in the first quarter. Portland State's defense helped them make the final push in the game, with the Vikings holding Northern Arizona to 12.5 percent shooting (2-of-16) in the fourth quarter.

Northern Arizona led 28-21 at halftime, before Portland State cut the deficit to 46-44 entering the final period.

Sidney Rielly led all scorers with 20 points, making 8-of-10 shots, while also making 2-of-4 three-point shots. Rene Coggins led the Lumberjacks with 11 points.
