OGDEN, Utah (May 14, 2016) –

Weber State will play in their second NCAA Tournament beginning next week. The Wildcats will find out who their opponent will be as ESPNU broadcasts the NCAA selection show at 8 p.m. Mountain.

Tatiana Su’esu’e picked up the win in 2.1 innings of relief action. The freshman stuck out one batter and allowed just one hit. Ashlyn Ames picked up the loss in six innings of five-hit action.

Ames and WSU starter, Kirtlyn Bohling, had a pitching battle going into the fourth when the Wildcats finally got on the board thanks to a sac fly by Sara Hingsberger.

ISU answered with two runs in the top of the fifth on an RBI single by Sarah Hayes and a RBI triple by Kacie Burnett.

Weber State’s Kristyn Kubo added some insurance with a two-out homerun in the bottom of the sixth.
