OGDEN, Utah (November 21, 2016) - The second season for #BigSkyFB is here, and four teams will represent the power FCS conference in the NCAA FCS playoffs.
Big Sky co-champion Eastern Washington, who earned the league’s automatic bid, will have a bye, and will host the winner of Illinois State and Central Arkansas. Big Sky co-champion North Dakota, who earned an at-large bid, will have a bye, and will host the winner of Richmond and North Carolina A&T.
Weber State, who enters as an at-large bid, will play at Chattanooga, marking the program’s first playoff appearance since 2009. Cal Poly, who enters as an at-large bid, will host San Diego, marking the program’s first playoff appearance since 2012.
