Big Sky Highlights
 
  • Eastern Washington snapped Montana’s seven-game win streak last Thursday with a 65-64 win in Cheney, Wash. 
  • UND’s Mia Loyd has a league-best 14 double-doubles and earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.
  • Idaho’s Stacey Barr had six rebounds against Montana on Saturday. Those six rebounds pushed her career total to 703 boards. She is the seventh player in Idaho history to break the 700 career rebound plateau.
  • The Big Sky Conference is ranked No. 22 in RPI. The conference has held the same ranking for three consecutive weeks.
  •  NAU’s game against Weber State on Saturday will be played in Rolle Activity Center

Jade Redmon (EWU) - Redmon averaged 17.5 points per game on 66.7 percent shooting from the field and 81.8 percent from the free throw line over the two games to go along with averages of 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Against Big Sky-leading Montana on Thursday, she continued her streak of scoring in double figures with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, adding seven rebounds and five assists while committing just two turnovers in 32 minutes. Against Montana State on Saturday, she went for a game-high-tying 22 points on just nine shots while playing 30 minutes. She finished 7-of-9 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from three-point range, and made all six of her free throw attempts. She pulled down five rebounds and registered a pair of assists and two steals to complete her impressive display. She has now scored in double figures in Eastern’s last five games, and eight of its last nine. She is averaging 13.4 points per game in Big Sky play while shooting 56.8 percent from the field, the third-highest percentage among conference players.
 
Stacey Barr (UI) - Senior Stacey Barr scored 53 points and totaled 21 rebounds in Idaho’s two games last week. She now is averaging a Big Sky-best 20.4 points per game (23rd in the NCAA). Barr started the week with a 26-point performance against Montana State. She hit four 3-pointers and went 10-for-15 from the free-throw line. Barr set a season-high in rebounding with 15, good for her 21st career double-double.  She bested her Thursday scoring total Saturday against Montana. She scored a game-high 27 points for Vandals, shooting 47.6 percent from the floor. Saturday marked the 14th time this season she has scored 20 or more points. Barr has also reached double-figure scoring in 56 of Idaho’s last 61 games. 
 
Gretchen Harrigan (SAC) - Harrigan filled the stat sheet with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds, five steals, two assists, and a block while playing just 18 minutes in Sacramento State’s 92-60 win at Portland State in its only game of the week. Harrigan shot 8-of-13 (61.5%) from the field and was 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Six of her seven rebounds were on the offensive glass and her five steals helped the Hornets break the Big Sky record with 30 steals in the game. She also had two assists and one block and did not commit a single turnover in an incredibly efficient 18 minutes of play, totaling 10 points, three rebounds, and three steals in 10 minutes in the first half as the Hornets opened up a big early lead.
 
Brittani Lusain (NAU) - Lusain averaged 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals this past weekend as NAU traveled to Northern Colorado and North Dakota. On Thursday, Lusain helped NAU pick up its first road win of the season, 51-49, over the Bears tallying 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists. She then posted a team-high 14 points on Saturday at UND, while also notching a career-high tying four steals. For the season, the sophomore is averaging 10.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
