The Lady Griz (15-5, 8-1 BSC) won two games over the weekend to extend their winning streak to seven games. UM moved into sole posession of first place in the conference standings with a 94-86 win over Sacramento State on Saturday in Missoula, Mont.
UND’s Mia Loyd has a league-best 13 double-doubles, including 10 of the last 14. She leads the team in both scoring (16.0 ppg), sixth in the Big Sky Conference, and rebounding (9.9 rpg), tops in the league. She is tied for ninth in all of NCAA Division I with her 13 double-doubles on the season and teammate Emily Evers is tied for second in the Big Sky.
Idaho’s Stacey Barr leads the Big Sky in scoring after dropping 30 on Saturday. Barr now has 1,654 points in her career, good for fifth all-time in school history. Her three 3-pointers on Saturday boosted her school-record to 241.
