OGDEN, Utah (December 1, 2015) – The Big Sky Conference had a strong week against non-conference opponents with Weber State winning the Gulf Coast Showcase and Eastern Washington and Sacramento State each having good performances at the Hornet Invitational last week.
 
This week’s performances of note:
Player of the Week – Jeremy Senglin (WSU) - Senglin, a native of Arlington, Texas, was named the Gulf Coast Showcase MVP after averaging 25 points and shooting 62 percent from the field in three games last week. In Monday’s 63-60 win over Central Michigan, Senglin was second on the team in scoring with 18 points.
 
 
Trayvon Langston (SUU) - Posted 32 points and 10 rebounds in two games last week for the Thunderbirds. He put up a double-double against Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday night with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  He followed that up with 15 points in a game at Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.
 
Martin Breunig (Montana) - Scored 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in both of his last two games at NDSU and Pepperdine.
 
Cameron Forte (PSU) - Forte scored 54 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as the Vikings split a pair of game last week. He had 23 points, nine rebounds and two assists, hitting 8-14 from the field and 7-8 at the line in a loss at Nevada.
 
Forte scored 31 points with 10 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 25 minutes of a win over Multnomah. He made 15-26 shots from the field and 1-3 at the line.
 
Perrion Callandret (Idaho) - Callandret continues to be the leader of the Vandals, scoring in double-figures in all three games last week.  Callandret shot better than 45% from the field and close to 42% from beyond the arc last week, averaging 15.0 points per contest.
 
Cody Demps (Sac State) - Cody Demps helped lead Sacramento State to a 2-1 record last week, including wins over local rivals UC Davis and Pacific. The fourth-year guard finished the week with averages of 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocked shots and 38.3 minutes per game and a 5.8-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.
