OGDEN, Utah (March 4, 2014) – After seven weeks of competition, the Northern Colorado men the Northern Colorado women top the Big Sky Tennis standings. Both teams have 4-0 conference records.
Over the weekend, the Northern Colorado men recorded a conference win over Eastern Washington to remain undefeated in conference. The Montana men went 2-0 over the weekend in conference play after defeating Portland State and Sacramento State. The Montana State men also defeated Sacramento State.
The Northern Colorado women went 1-1 over the weekend, earning a conference win over Eastern Washington and falling to Wyoming. The North Dakota women also defeated Eastern Washington in a conference match. The Montana State women earned a conference win over Portland State.
The Idaho State and Weber State men defeated Northern Arizona. The Eastern Washington men defeated conference opponent North Dakota. North Dakota also faced No. 55 Iowa, but lost 7-0. The Portland State men were also scheduled to play Montana State and MSU-Billings but these matches were postponed and cancelled respectively, due to inclement weather.
The Sacramento State women lost to No. 61 TCU 4-3, and No. 24 Washington 4-3. The Idaho State women lost to Idaho and Boise State. The Portland State women were also scheduled to face MSU-Billings and Montana but those matches were cancelled and postponed respectively, due to inclement weather.
