OGDEN, Utah (Feb. 25, 2014) – After six weeks of competition, the Northern Colorado men the Northern Colorado women top the Big Sky Tennis standings.
 
The Northern Colorado men recorded two conference wins over the weekend after defeating Portland State 5-2 and Idaho State 4-3.  The North Dakota men went 2-0 over the weekend with wins over Nebraska-Omaha and conference opponent Idaho State.  In its only match of the weekend, the Montana men defeated Gonzaga 5-2.  The Weber State men went 1-1 over the weekend after losing to Utah State 4-2 and defeating Colorado Mesa 6-1.
 
The Northern Colorado women went 1-1 over the weekend, with the 6-1 win coming over conference opponent Idaho State and the 6-1 loss coming to No. 54 Wichita State.  The North Dakota women went 2-0 over the weekend after defeating conference opponent Idaho State 7-0 and Nebraska-Omaha 5-2.  The Montana State women went 2-1 over the weekend with wins over Towson, 5-2 and Coppin State, 6-0.  MSU’s only loss came to Georgetown.  The Portland State women went 1-1 over the weekend with a 6-1 conference win over Northern Arizona and a 5-2 loss to Akron.  The Southern Utah women went 2-1 with wins over Dixie State and UC Riverside; its only loss came to CS Fullerton.  In its only match of the weekend, the Eastern Washington women defeated Whitman 5-2.
 
The Eastern Washington men lost to UMKC 4-3.  The Northern Arizona men lost to Loyola Marymount 7-0.  The Portland State men lost to Air Force 7-0.  The Sacramento State men lost to Saint Mary’s 6-1 and to Pacific 7-0.  The Idaho State men lost to two conference opponents, Northern Colorado and North Dakota.
 
The Northern Arizona women went 0-2 over the weekend with a 4-3 loss to Nevada and a loss to Portland State. The Idaho State women lost to two conference opponents, Northern Colorado and North Dakota.  In its only match of the weekend, the Sacramento State women lost to UC Davis 4-3.
