This Week’s Top Perfomers

Stacey Barr (Idaho) - Stacey Barr set the Idaho school record for career three-pointers on Sunday, passing the previous record held by Kelli Johnson (207 3pt field goals) the last 16 years. Barr started the week third all-time, but converted eight shots behind the arc last week to break the record.

Barr led the Vandals in a losing effort at No. 17 Oregon State with a game-high 21 points. For Barr it marked her sixth game in double figures this season. Idaho played to a 104-19 rout Multnomah in the team’s return to the Cowan Spectrum. Barr began the game with 204 career three-point field goals, needing only three to tie the record. She hit three of her first five attempts to tie the record in the game’s first seven minutes. She hit five shots from long range in the first half to move into sole possession of first-place and continued to add to her record. The Aussie guard finished with 27 points and nine rebounds, ending the week with 210 career three-pointers.

Barr averaged 24.0 points for the week with a 44.4 field goal percentage. She leads the Big Sky with  a season average of 20.6 points per game, good for 27th in the nation. Her 7.5 rebounds per game last week improved her season total to 8.9, fourth in the Big Sky.

Regina Okoye (WSU) - Against San Diego (12/6) Okoye put up her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Gina’s ten steals is a school record for most steals in a game and ties her for second place in the conference for most steals in a game. She has scored in double-digits in six of eight games this season

Raven Aderson (NAU) - Anderson had a big game on Wednesday, narrowly missing out on a triple-double, posting 21 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in NAU’s 82-64 victory against Loyola Marymount. The nine assists were a career-high. Anderson was instrumental in the offense attack not only scoring the basketball, but dishing it out as well as her 21 points led all players in the contest. She shot 9-of-12 from the field and knocked down three of her four free throw attempts, along with tallying a block and a steal.

For the season, the senior is averaging 12.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while ranking second in the conference in field goal percentage at .593.
