WSU's Tresnak Named Player of the Week

OGDEN, Utah (Dec. 11, 2012) - Weber State center Kyle Tresnak has been named the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week after leading the Wildcats to a pair of Division I home victories.
The 6-foot-10 junior from Scottsdale, Ariz., averaged 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as the Wildcats earned wins over Utah Valley and UC Irvine. Tresnak shot 65 percent from the floor, was perfect from the free-throw line, and averaged two blocks and one steal per game.
Tresnak netted a season-high 20 points and pulled down a season-high nine rebounds in an 89-56 victory over Utah Valley on Wednesday, Dec. 5. He made 8-of-10 shots from the floor, was 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, blocked three shots and had a steal.
In a 65-51 win over UC Irvine on Saturday, Dec. 8, Tresnak scored 16 points with six rebounds, a block and a steal. He made 5-of-10 shots from the floor, and was 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
