Randy Rahe’s Weber State Wildcats have been selected for an ESPN3 game as part of Sears BracketBuseters on Saturday, Feb. 18.
 
Weber State, which is currently tied for the Big Sky Conference lead at 8-1 and is 16-4 overall will play host to Texas-Arlington of the Southland Conference at 6 p.m. Mountain.

Weber State features the nation’s leading scorer in junior guard Damian Lillard, who averages 24.4 points per game. The Wildcats recently had a 10-game winning streak snapped at Idaho State.
 
Lillard, from Oakland, Calif., is ranked in the top 20 in the nation in free-throw shooting, 3-point field goals per game, and 3-point field-goal percentage.
 
Weber State is nationally-ranked in the College Insider.com Mid-Major Top 25, and has a current RPI of 91.
 
Texas-Arlington is currently 15-5 and has won 11 consecutive games. The Mavericks, coached by Scott Cross, will join the Western Athletic Conference in 2012-13. Sophomore guard/forward LaMarcus Reed averages a team-best 16.1 points per game. The Mavericks have an RPI of 137.
 
For the second straight season, all nine Big Sky Conference teams were part of the ESPN BracketBusters Pool, which included 142 teams from 16 Division I Conferences.
 
In non-televised games in Big Sky arenas, Montana will take on Hawai’i, Northern Arizona will battle UC Davis, Cal Poly meets Northern Colorado, and Sacramento State runs with Long Beach State.
 
Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana State and Portland State will all play road games. Eastern Washington is at UC Irvine, Idaho State is at Pacific, Montana State is at Cal State Fullerton, and Portland State is at Idaho.
 
As part of the BracketBusters contract, all teams playing this year must play a return game in either 2012-2013, or 2013-14. That means, Montana will travel to Hawai’i, Idaho will play at Portland State, etc.
