Eastern Washington's home winning streak came to an end as did Montana's dominance of Sacramento State on Saturday in Big Sky Conference football action.

Sacramento State beat No. 10 Montana 42-28, ending the Grizzlies' 16-game winning streak over the Hornets. Jeff Fleming accounted for four touchdowns as the Hornets beat the Grizzlies for the first time.

No. 4 Montana State handed Eastern Washington its first loss on the red turf, beating the defending national champions 36-21.

Senior kicker Jason Cunningham kicked five field goals, including a pair of 55 yarders to lead the Bobcats to their first victory in Chaney since 1990. EWU dropped to 0-2 in league and 0-4 overall. EWU went 8-0 on the red turf last season.

Montana State's Cody Kirk rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown. DeNarius McGhee rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, and tossed a TD pass. The Bobcats improved to 1-0 in conference and 3-1 overall.

In other action on Saturday, Weber State topped Northern Colorado 45-21, Northern Arizona beat Idaho State 20-3, TCU beat Portland State 55-13.

Weber State QB Mike Hoke completed 20-of-25 passes for 280 yards and five touchdowns. Weber State is 2-0 in conference play.

Northern Arizona running back Zach Bauman rushed for 219 yards and a touchdown. Northern Arizona's defense recorded 10 sacks and held the Bengals to just 12 first downs.
