Sports Network Preseason All-America Team

A total of 16 Big Sky Conference football players were named to The Sports Network FCS Preseason All-America Football Team, including five from defending national champion Eastern Washington.

The Big Sky led all FCS conferences in selections. The Southern Conference played 14 on the squad. Eastern Washington and Georgia Southern led all teams with five players. Montana State and Liberty each placed four on the squad.

Six Sky players earned first-team Honors. Eastern Washington center Chris Powers and Weber State guard J.C. Oram were tabbed to the first-team offense. Idaho State linebacker A.J. Storms, Montana cornerback Trumaine Johnson, Eastern Washington safety Matt Johnson and Idaho State punter David Harrington were selected to the first-team defense.

Eastern Washington wide receiver Brandon Kaufman, Montana State kicker Jason Cunningham, Eastern Washington defensive tackle Renard Williams and Sacramento State defensive end Zack Nash were second-team selections.

Montana State quarterback DeNarius McGhee, the 2010 Big Sky Co-Offensive MVP, led the third-team offense. He was joined by Bobcat offensive lineman Alex Terrien. Weber State linebacker Nick Webb, Montana State defensive tackle Zach Minter, Eastern Washington linebacker Zach Johnson and Idaho State return man Tavoy Moore were named to the third-team defense.
