WSU's Bullinger Named POTW

OGDEN, UTAH (Feb. 14, 2011) - Weber State junior Kyle Bullinger has been selected as the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball player of the week after leading the Wildcats to two victories.
Bullinger, a 6-foot-6 forward from Mountain View, Wyo., averaged 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and five assists per game as Weber State ran its winning streak to five with victories over Northern Arizona and Eastern Washington. Bullinger shot 54.5 percent from the floor, 50 percent from 3-point range, and didn’t miss a free throw.
Bullinger scored 18 points with a career-high 14 rebounds, six assists and a steal in Weber State’s 82-55 home win over Northern Arizona on Thursday. The win moved Weber State into sole possession of third place in the conference standings. Bullinger was 6-of-11 from the floor 3-of-6 from 3-point range, and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.
Bullinger scored 17 points with seven rebounds and four assists in the Wildcats’ 80-68 road won over Eastern Washington Saturday. Bullinger was once again 6-of-11 from the field. He made 1-of-2 3-pointers and made all four of his free throws.
This is Bullinger’s first career player of the week honor.
