Weber State’s Kelsey Adams has been selected as the first Black Clover Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week for the 2010 fall season.

Adams, a senior from Pleasant View, Utah, fired a two-over-par 73 to tie for medalist honors at the Wildcat Invitational on Sept. 3. Adams shot a 36 on the front and a 37 on the back in the 18-hole tournament played at the Davis County Golf Course in Kaysville, Utah.

Adams helped Weber State to a second-place finish. The Wildcats shot a 307, three shots back of Southern Utah.

This is Adams’ second career Golfer of the Week Honor.

Weber State sophomore Jordan Ulibarri, who was playing as an individual, also shot a 73.

Idaho State finished fourth in the Wildcat Invitational with a 331. Kylie Smith led Idaho State, finishing 20th with an 81.

Montana State’s Molly Dorans and Kelly O’Brien both tied for sixth at the Bobcat Invitational, held Tuesday and Wednesday in Bozeman. Both golfers shot a 151. Montana State was second in the tourney with a 613. Idaho State finished fifth with a 645. Smith tied for 16th with a 156.
