Weber State Golfers Honored For GPA
Members of the Weber State golf team, who competed at the Big Sky Championship in April. The team finished with the 15th-best GPA in the nation.

Weber State Golfers Honored For GPA

Weber State's women's golf team finished with the 15th-highest grade point average in the nation, the National Golf Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.

Weber State finished with a grade point average of 3.583, the highest of any athletic squad in the Big Sky Conference in 2009-10.

The University of Indianapolis was the recipient of the 2009-10 NGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award, finishing with a 3.752.

Weber State finished ninth among Division I programs.

The Wildcats are coached by Jeff Smith. Members of the team were junior Kelsey Adams, freshman Caitlin Cuff, freshman Sara Federico, freshman Kelsey Podlesny, freshman Amanda Snyder, sophomore Jordan Ulibarri, and senior Natalie Weber.

About the National Golf Coaches Association

The National Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches. The NGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
