Will Betts of the University of Hartford has been selected as the Big Sky Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week after capturing medalist honors at the Til Duty is Done Intercollegiate.
 
Betts, a junior from, Leechburg, Penn., was the only golfer among 88 to break par. Betts opened with a 4-under-par 68 and closed with a 2-under-par 70 to finish with a 6-under-par 138. Betts won his first collegiate tournament title by six shots. Betts’ 68 was his lowest round of the season, and one shy of his collegiate low of 67.
 
Betts helped Hartford to the team championship at the 16-team tournament, which was played April 11-12 at the Lake of Isles North Course in North Stonington, Conn. Hartford won by 13 shots over host Conneticut.
