Choi, a senior from Surrey, B.C., tied for ninth place at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic on March 23-25. Choi, the defending Big Sky individual champion, opened with a 3-over-par 75 and closed with back-to-back rounds of 72 to finish with a 3-over-par 219. She carded seven birdies in the 54 holes. Choi has posted par or under-par scores in nine of her 20 rounds this season. Her scoring average of 73.45 shots per round is on pace to break her own school record of 74.25.
Portland State finished 12th in the 15-team tournament, which was played at the Kapalua Bay Course in Lahaina, Hawai’i.
